Reading Fire Department Announces Funeral Arrangements For Firefighter Kulp

William I. Stoudt, Jr., Chief of the Reading Fire Department, issued today the following information regarding the services and funeral arrangements for firefighter Mark (Dewey) Kulp:

All Scheduled Services will take place at the Theo C. Auman Funeral Home at 247 Penn St. Reading, PA 19601.

There will be a public viewing held on Friday evening from 5 to 8 p.m.

Saturday, January 16, 2021

On Saturday, there will be a Public Viewing from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. after which there will be a Service.

Following the service and presentation of Honors on Saturday, there will be no procession to a cemetery. However, there will be a procession of fire apparatus that will proceed from a staging location through the Funeral Home parking lot.

The Reading Parking Authority has made available both the Chiarelli Parking Garage in the 000 Blk. North 3rd St. and the Albert Boscov Plaza Parking Garage at 2nd and Washington St. for vehicle parking.

Due to COVID-19, there will be a limitation on the number of people allowed in the Funeral Home at any given time, and masks along with social distancing are a requirement.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the IAFF Burn Fund, 1750 New York Ave. NW, Suite 300, Washington, D.C. 20006.
