Berks Community Health Center Welcomes New Family Physician – Site Director

Accamma Joy, DO has joined Berks Community Health Center (BCHC) as the Physician Site Director at BCHC’s Rockland location. “I am thrilled that Dr. Joy has joined our practice at our Rockland location,” said BCHC Chief Medical Officer, Mary E. Kelleher, MD. “Dr. Joy is a highly talented and innovative physician who is passionate about advocating for patients and improving access to health care, especially to the underserved. As our Rockland location continues to grow, she will provide the oversight necessary to assure the quality of care is where it needs to be.”

In addition to directing the primary care services and primary care providers at the BCHC Rockland location, Dr. Joy also provides comprehensive medical care/primary care to patients of all ages.

Dr. Joy completed medical school at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, her residency at St Joseph Medical Center, Reading, PA and is Board Certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. Before joining BCHC, Dr. Joy was the Associate Program Director for the Family and Community Medicine Residency Program at Penn State Health St. Joseph (PSHSJ), Reading.
