by Wyomissing Public Library

Feb 28, 2021

On Tuesday, March 3rd at 6 PM, the Wyomissing Public Library will offer a virtual program entitled “The Arboretum at the Reading Public Museum – How You can Play in the Dirt, Make New Friends and Help the Arboretum.” The program is free and open to the public; registration is required and may be done by emailing [email protected] or by calling the library at 610-374-2385.

Donna Gougher, Assistant Volunteer Coordinator for the Arboretum and a Penn State Master Gardener, will talk about the grounds and gardens at the museum and how they have developed over the years. She will also talk about the role that volunteers play at the Arboretum in its development and maintenance.

With the imminent arrival of Spring, the Arboretum is getting ready not only for cleaning up but for planting and pruning. If you like to garden and want to help your community at the same time, register for this Wyomissing Public Library program.
