Hillestad Becomes Licensed Architect at Muhlenberg Greene Architects

Project Manager Brian Hillestad Joins the Ranks of Architects at the Firm

Muhlenberg Greene Architects is pleased to announce that Brian K. Hillestad recently received notice that he passed his final exam in the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) Architect Registration Exam (ARE). He is the 7th licensed architect at Muhlenberg Greene Architects.

Mr. Hillestad has over twenty years of architectural experience in overseeing the design and construction of custom luxury residential, light commercial including private golf clubs, and historical projects which include renovations to a historically significant building dating back to 1790.

Additionally, Brian is a master draftsman, with expertise in sustainable design techniques, and construction administration. As an experienced project manager in the States of New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Wyoming, he is a seasoned facilitator of the building process, from initial meetings with clients through construction administration.

Mr. Hillestad studied architecture at the at The State University of New York at Buffalo (SUNY Buffalo) and later earned his Architecture degree from The University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He is active in his local community of Exton, where he resides with his wife Alison and their three children.

Brian has been a project manager and design technician at the firm since 2017. He will continue his work as an architect at the firm’s Wyomissing office, but as customary, Mr. Hillestad will oversee projects throughout the firm’s service area, including eight states (Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Maryland, South Carolina, Virginia, Vermont) and the District of Columbia.
