Reading Public Library Announces 2021 Book Club

The Reading Public Library will resume their Adult Book Club series with a discussion of “Long Bright River” by Liz Moore. The discussion will be held at 7 pm on Wednesday, May 19, at the Reading Public Library Foundation Building, 113 S. 4th Street.

Future sessions include:

  • Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia – Wednesday, July 21
  • Light from a Distant Star by Mary McGarry Morris – Wednesday, September 22
  • The Mountains Sing by Nguyen Phan Que Mai – Wednesday, November 17

All discussions are from 7 to 8 pm at the Foundation Building. They will be led by RPL’s Supervisor of Reference Services Nathaniel Thomas. The event is free of charge and pre-registration is not required. Guests can easily access the Foundation Building via the parking lot gate on Wood St. behind the main library.

Masks are required and social distancing will be observed. The events may be canceled with no notice.
