You’re Invited to Hike Neversink Mountain with Hopewell Furnace

You are cordially invited to discover Neversink Mountain with author and historian Paul Druzba.  Paul will lead an in-person non-strenuous hike on Sunday, May 16th, which follows the former rail line to the once glorious retreat of Neversink Mountain.

To participate, please fill out the Liability Release Form, sign it and return it to Edie Shean-Hammond by COB Saturday, May 15, or bring it to the event.

Remember to wear comfortable footwear and bring water.

The program is offered to members of the Friends of Hopewell Furnace NHS.  Not a member?  It’s easy to become one.  Just click membership to apply online. Membership applications will also be available on site.

Throughout the program, strict adherence to the French Creek State Park COVID-19 Mitigation measures of  Sunday, April 4, 2021 will be followed. The Neversink Mountain hike will be limited to 40 participants; masks are required to be worn during the hike and social distancing protocols are to be followed.
