May 20, 2021

Keller Williams Platinum Realty Realtors volunteered at Rock Hollow Woods Environmental Learning Center in Birdsboro on May 13th and made a financial donation to Mary’s Shelter as part of Keller Williams National RED Day.

RED Day, which stands for Renew, Energize and Donate, is Keller Williams’ annual day of service. Making a difference in the lives of others and bettering the communities they serve, lies at the heart of the Keller Williams culture. Holding a collection in their office for Mary’s Shelter and physically volunteering at Rock Hollow Woods Environmental Learning Center embodies the generous spirit and commitment they have, to giving back to the Berks community.

“For Red Day 2021, our agent leadership brainstormed ideas for a fun, rewarding and impactful day of service and they landed on two very worthy causes. We’ve filled 30 baby bottles with money to help Mary’s Shelter continue their mission of loving children from the beginning; changing lives forever. And we got physical at Rock Hollow Woods Environmental Learning Center in Birdsboro with an enthusiastic crew of more than 30 volunteers from our market center clearing trails and trimming trees to preserve the perfect laboratory for inspiring children and adults to explore wildlife and natural habitats. Platinum Realty is thrilled to help our community, to share the experience as a team and to be part of the Keller Williams Red Day effort around the world,” said Kate Steffy Keller Williams Platinum Realty Associate Broker/Agent Services Director.

“Thank you, thank you, thank you, Keller Williams Platinum Realty! It is so wonderful to have all your helping hands to remove the invasive species. This will make it so much safer and easier for the children to explore the creek and the wetlands. Please come back,” said Jean McCarney Rock Hollow Farms Co-Founder.

“As the chair of the RBAR Outreach Committee for more than four years, all Agents in Berks County have opportunities to give back through various events during the year. What makes Red Day unique is the day is celebrated nationally by all Keller Williams offices. For Keller Williams Platinum Agents it is a day that we get to give back to various organizations in our local communities and make a difference as a team. This year we all proudly wore our team Red Day shirts, rolled up our sleeves and tackled this year’s projects with as much gusto and energy as the last. It truly warms your heart to see the before and after of the project and see the recipients’ faces,” said Jack Evans Keller Williams Platinum Realty Realtor.
