Berks County Parks Facilities Reopen for Weekend Hours Starting June 4

The Berks County Parks Department is pleased to announce that the Berks County Heritage Center and the Bingaman Nature Center will be reopening to visitors starting Friday, June 4, 2021. The Heritage Center and the Bingaman Nature Center will be open on weekends during the following hours: Fridays and Saturdays, 10 AM to 4 PM, and Sundays 12 PM to 4 PM.

Guided tours of the Gruber Wagon Works and C. Howard Hiester Canal Center will be offered each day with tours starting on the hour: Friday and Saturday tours will start at 10 AM, 11 AM, 12 PM, 1 PM, 2 PM, and 3 PM, and on Sundays at 12 PM, 1 PM, 2 PM, and 3 PM. Tours will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Tours will start at the lower level of the Heritage Center’s Visitor Center Barn. All visitors, staff, and volunteers will be required to wear masks when on tour and when inside any of the facilities located at the Heritage Center and Bingaman Nature Center. For more information, please visit our website at www.countyofberks.com/parks
