Hudak Joins RACC Foundation as Director of Grants and Major Gifts

The Foundation for Reading Area Community College (RACC) is pleased to announce that Rhonda Hudak has joined the Foundation team as the director of grants and major gift officer effective July 1, 2021. Ms. Hudak has over eighteen years’ experience working with non-profit organizations, with a focus on fundraising for the arts. Ms. Hudak joined RACC in 2017 as the director of grant development and management. Prior to joining RACC, She has worked for the Olivet Boys & Girls Club in Reading, the Allentown Art Museum, the Baum School of Art in Allentown, and the Barnes Foundation in Philadelphia.

Anthony DeMarco, RACC VP of college advancement and executive director of the Foundation for RACC, says, “Rhonda is a strategic, results-driven grant and major gift professional with a strong record of success in securing grants, which ultimately benefit and uplift RACC students and the Berks County communities. Rhonda will also work closely with our team as we plan RACC’s 50th Anniversary Gala on November 10th with Apple Co-Founder Steve Wozniak.”

Ms. Hudak’s professional experience is broad with accomplishments in grant writing, successful annual appeals, targeted EITC donations from business partners, and prosperous special events. In addition to being a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and an alumna of the Leadership Berks program, Ms. Hudak graduated from the Advance Leadership Program from the Boys & Girls Club University in partnership with the University of Michigan. Ms. Hudak currently serves on various boards and committees including the WCR Center for the Arts and the Association of Fundraising Professions (AFP) Berks County Chapter. She was recognized as a Distinguished Honoree at the 2019 AFP National Philanthropy Day breakfast. She has a M.S. in Arts Administration from Drexel University.

The Foundation for Reading Area Community College was created to raise, invest and manage private funds for the benefit of the college. The Foundation supports RACC’s mission to build communities of learning to encourage educational growth by providing scholarship funding for all students with demonstrated financial need and for emerging initiatives that serve to further enhance the college’s programs and facilities.
