Wyomissing Public Library Hosts Program on Gender Identity

Tasha Santiago, Marketing and Outreach Coordinator for the LGBT Center of Greater Reading, will present an educational and informational program about Gender Identity & Expression: What Does It all Mean?, on Thursday, August 5th at 6 PM at the Wyomissing Public Library.

According to Wikipedia, gender identity is the personal sense of one’s own gender and can correlate with a person’s assigned sex at birth or can differ from it. Gender expression typically reflects a person’s gender identity, but this is not always the case.

The in-person program, for adults and teens, is free and open to the public [but reservations are requested], masks are optional. Email [email protected], or call the library at 610-374-2385 to register. The library is located at 9 Reading Boulevard in Wyomissing.
