Keller Williams Platinum Realty is excited to announce the 2021 Keller Williams Platinum Realty Agent Leadership Council. With 122 Agents working at Keller Williams Platinum Realty, the Agent Leadership Council (ALC) is beneficial not just for the current Agents, but it sets a standard for future generations.
The ALC is a group of Agents from the Top 20%, by closed sales volume, that have been interviewed by the CEO/Team Leader and have agreed to serve in a leadership role to make decisions to increase the Market Center’s productivity and profitability. The ALC meets monthly and assists with developing policies and guidelines for the Market Center, sets standards in the Market Center, resolves any problems that may arise, masterminds strategies to support and grow the current business plan, and acts as protectors of the company culture. The ALC also assists fellow associates through answering questions, being available to be shadowed and mentoring new Agents.
Peter Heim Keller Williams Platinum Realty Realtor/Associate Broker and an ALC member serving as the co-chair of the Growth Task Force said, “I have been in the real estate industry for more than 37 years, and unlike other real estate agencies where you have Brokers/Owners who set policies, and the Agents simply have to follow the policies they have created, the ALC allows Agents to give suggestions for policies and procedures. The ALC participates in decision making for the Market Center without ownership.”
The members of the 2021 Keller Williams Platinum Realty Agent Leadership Council are: Katie Broskey, Jack Evans, Peter Heim, Tyler Miller, Rochelle Owens, Jaime Perez, KatieJo Shank, Kelly Spayd, and Stephanie Young.
Rochelle Owens is entering her second year as Keller Williams Platinum Realty’s Agent Leadership Council Culture Task Force Chairperson. Owens discussed the Culture Task Force, saying, “the Culture Task Force provides aid and assistance to fellow Agents at Platinum Realty, including financial help, meals, childcare, supplies for families such as: diapers, formula and more. The Culture Task Force’s primary mission is to help others and it starts at a national level with Keller Williams and filters down to local levels.”
“In addition to physical and financial aid, personal development is also a priority of the Culture Task Force. We’ve started a book club, called ‘BYOC,’ which stands for ‘Bring Your Own Coffee.’ The goal is to read one book per quarter, and it meets every Monday morning from 10:00-11:00 am. The club focuses on personal development, and the first book we read was A Joy-Filled Life, by Mo Anderson, which I thought was an appropriate first book for the club, as Anderson is the Co-Founder of Keller Williams Realty,” said Owens.
After a one-year term, a new council will be selected based on the same criteria: Agents in the Top 20%, interview with Jon Gerhart, Keller Williams Platinum Realty CEO/Team Leader, and agreeing to the covenant. The concept and the original Keller Williams Agent Leadership Councils were formed nationally in 1986.
Keller Williams Platinum Realty is an Agent focused enterprise as demonstrated by their credo: Built by Agents for Agents. They provide an exceptional work environment for their Agents at the local level by incorporating key components that have been provided to make Keller Williams the leading real estate company in the country and to help Keller Williams Platinum Realty become the #2 agency in Berks (by total volume and total units) and the fastest growing real estate company in the County.
