West Reading Borough National Night Out – Tuesday, August 3rd, 2021

by West Reading Police Department

Aug 01, 2021

Please be advised that the Borough of West Reading is hosting a community event on Tuesday evening, August 3rd, 2021 to celebrate National Night Out. National Night Out is an annual event geared towards bolstering police and community relations. This year the event is hosted by the West Reading Police, Fire and Recreation Departments.

The event will be held on the West Reading Baseball and Track & Field Area adjacent to the West Reading Pool. The event will run from 5pm – 8pm and will include free food and giveaways, such as children’s bicycles and backpacks.

The event will also allow attendees to meet first responders and have an up-close look at police cars, fire trucks and ambulances, among others. West Reading’s own K9 Zea will be conducting a Police K9 demonstration for attendees as well.

Finally, there will be games, fun events with Borough personnel and a DJ playing music throughout the event. There will also be a dunk tank with several notable Borough personalities inside including the Mayor, Council Members and Chief of Police.

Graphics / flyers for this event can be shared or found on the West Reading Police Facebook / Instagram pages as well as the Recreation Department’s social media. We would appreciate any announcements prior to the event and coverage of the actual event on August 3rd, 2021. Any questions please contact via email at [email protected] or via phone at 610-373-0111.
