Oliver Arthur

The County of Berks and Berks County Controller’s Office would like to congratulate Oliver Arthur, Audit Manager, for being named a 2021 PICPA Young Leader. The Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) annually recognizes members under the age of 40 who demonstrate an extraordinary commitment to the accounting profession. There are a variety of factors that influence the selection process, including nominations by a colleague, PICPA committee activity, community service, and PICPA team recommendations.

Oliver is among an elite group of members who have demonstrated a commitment to the accounting profession through active participation in PICPA and the greater community. He serves in the Controller’s office as a manager of auditing and project manager. He is also a member of the PICPA Legislation Committee and the Government Accounting and Auditing Thought Leadership Committee.

“I am beyond proud of Oliver for being selected for this honor,” Controller Sandy Graffius said. “We are honored to have him on our team in the Controller’s office and I know he will do even greater things in the future.”

The class of 2021 Young Leaders were honored at PICPA’s Leadership Conference in Hershey on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021. The winners are also featured in the Fall 2021 issue of the Pennsylvania CPA Journal and on the PICPA website.
