Herbein + Company, Inc. (Herbein), a leading Mid Atlantic regional certified public accounting firm, announces the acquisition, effective October 1, of Tubiello-Harr & Associates, LLC, a Greater Lehigh Valley certified public accounting firm.
This merger is part of Herbein’s dynamic growth plan and is based on strengthening a growing geographic market. In fact, Herbein was recently named one of the Lehigh Valley’s 2021 Fastest Growing Companies awards winners. This announcement follows the July 1, 2021 merger of Mosteller & Associates which bolstered Herbein’s service offerings.
Founded in 2011, the Coopersburg, PA-based Tubiello-Harr & Associates, LLC provides advisory and consulting services to a wide-ranging client base in the region. All Tubiello-Harr & Associates, LLC professionals will join Herbein, and continue practicing from their current location, complemented by the firm’s additional resources.
While Herbein and Financial Outsourcing Solutions (FOS), a Herbein division, are also located in the area, Herbein Managing Partner David W. Stonesifer said that the firm has wanted to expand its presence in the region for some time.

Terms of the agreement have not been made public. However, the strategy behind the merger is two-fold for Loretta Tubiello-Harr, founder, and principal: “As our business clients grow, they require comprehensive support that we can leverage from our combination with Herbein. Our individual clients will benefit from Herbein’s additional depth in areas such as estates, retirement, education, income tax, trusts, investments and other areas of personal finance. Another important aspect of this merger is to provide a succession plan for our clients. Kim Vandergrift and I plan to maintain our client relationships, and this transaction assures continued exceptional client service for all our clients into the foreseeable future.” Loretta Tubiello-Harr will become a Senior Consultant, and Kim Vandergrift will join Herbein as a partner.
