Antietam Lake Park/Angora Fruit Farm Master Plan Update

by The County of Berks

Oct 18, 2021
The Angora Fruit Farm is a recent addition to the Berks County parks system, surrounded by the Antietam Lake Park and Mount Penn Preserve.

The Berks County Parks and Recreation Department is in the process of developing a Master Plan for the Angora Fruit Farm portion of Antietam Lake Park. The Master Plan will provide a blueprint for future recreation, public use improvements and conservation initiatives.

Members of the community are invited to attend a public meeting on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, 6:30 PM to 8 PM, at Antietam Valley Recreation and Community Center to view the Antietam Lake Park/Angora Fruit Farm Pre-Final Master Plan and share your thoughts and ideas about the park. Design consultants, YSM Landscape Architects, will present the Pre-Final park design and request comments. Your thoughts and ideas are important to help establish priorities for future park enhancements. No registration required.

Please mark your calendar and join us on October 27. All questions should be directed to the Berks County Parks and Recreation Department at 610-372-8939.
