League of Women Voters and Wyomissing Public Library to Host Candidate Forum

The League of Women Voters of Berks County, in partnership with the Wyomissing Public Library, will moderate a Candidates’ Forum for the offices of Mayor and Council for Wyomissing Borough.

The forum will be held in-person at the library, 9 Reading Boulevard in Wyomissing, on Tuesday, October 19th. The Mayoral forum will begin at 6 PM, and the Borough Council forum will start at 6:30 PM. Both forums are open to the public, but registration is required and may be done by email to [email protected], by phone at 610-374-2385, or in-person at the library.

Candidates for mayor are  Adrian Jadic (D) and incumbent Fred Levering (R).   There are 8 candidates for 4 seats on Borough Council: Jana Barnett (D), Jennifer Reimer (D), Jaqueline Torres (D), and Catherine Maher (D); Republican candidates include Ronald Stanko, incumbent William Jenckes, Frederick Mogel and Shane Paisley.
