Annette Faust, owner and self-proclaimed creative spirit, founded A Box of Berks in 2017 and Celebrate Together Events three years earlier.  Faust believes in helping families and friends make memories—whether that means customizing gift boxes or partnering with clients to design wedding receptions or parties.

According to Faust, “A Box of Berks was born on Small Business Saturday in 2017 as a result of a conversation between a few small businesses, my event rental and decor company included. We concluded that Gift Boxes with edible contents from Berks County might be a welcome option, especially for those who have moved away from the area or are visiting—even for the first time. We now serve a wide array of customers, including businesses, and have sent boxes as gifts for every occasion. The Pop-Up Shop is the realization of a vision that started on a rainy Small Business Saturday four years ago and now commemorates a business anniversary.”

A Box of Berks, her second enterprise, is your one stop for gift boxes and baskets filled with favorites from Berks County. If you have ever lived in Berks, you will appreciate the local specialties and taste of nostalgia from treats that keep bringing you home!  Boxes come in a variety of sizes for any occasion. Choose pick up, shipping, or delivery options.

Vendors include Good’s Potato Chips, Unique Pretzels, Dieffenbach’s Potato Chips, Tom Sturgis Pretzels, Echo Hill Country Store, Whimsey Doodles Lemon Curd & Jams, Reading Soda Works, Kutztown Bottling Works, Gauker Farms, Crafty Cookie Creations, Lorah’s Handmade Chocolates, Sweet Cakes by Ellen, Nonpareils by Billy’s Candies; Epicurean Pantry, Calvaresi Coffee, Tea & Etc., Sherry’s HodgePodge, Anita’s Biscottis, Lisa’s Bee Farm, Global Libations Coffee Roaster, Sunnyside Bakery, Pilsudski Mustard Co., Brocmar BBQ and Rubs, Shillington Market Café, and Pure Wild Tea.

Give Back Boxes, a special offering of A Box of Berks, allow customers to donate to a special cause and gift a friend, relative, or co-worker at the same time!

Visit this link https://www.aboxofberks.com/store/p5/aboxofberks.com.html#/to begin fundraising for a local nonprofit. Starting with a $40 Box of Berks or higher, a customer chooses from the current list of nonprofit beneficiaries, including Missionary Sisters of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, Circle of Life Coalition, Breast Cancer Support Services, Fleetwood Community Bus Inc, Friend, Inc. Community Services, Grey Muzzle Manor, or Hannah’s Hope Ministries!  The nonprofit will receive 25% of the Box base value.

“I strive to live a life that will leave a lasting mark. As a result, I feel that my business presence has to be one that benefits my community. A Box of Berks serves this purpose by supporting local small and micro businesses and by giving back to nonprofit organizations. People move away from the familiarity of their childhood; thus, the nostalgia of foods from our past becomes a lifeline to memories. A Box of Berks brings you home.”
