West Reading’s 2nd Friday Celebrates its Unique Offerings

Every 2nd Friday of the month, the West Reading shops and restaurants celebrate with “2nd Friday on the Avenue” hosted by the West Reading Community Revitalization Foundation (WRCRF).

2nd Friday on the Avenue is a time to celebrate and recognize our independent shops and locally owned restaurants! Join us Friday, December 10th! December’s 2nd Friday celebrates the season with a “Nifty Gifty” theme, with merchants offering unique gifts, warm refreshments, and even a fun Game Night!

A Brass Quartet will be strolling the Avenue from 6 – 9pm playing Holiday tunes.

Happenings on 2nd Friday include:

• Game Night at Simply BOLD Cafe, 550 Penn Avenue. BOLD will be open until 7pm. Bring your own game or choose one of theirs!
• Be Mine Boutique, 637 Penn Avenue, will be serving “Cookies & Cocoa” for shoppers. You can also browse and create a Wish List for Santa! They will be open until 8pm.
• The Art Room, 633 Penn Avenue will offer 15% off the large vintage ceramic trees. Trees come with wiring and lights, you add the paint and sparkle! Open 12-8pm.
