Humane Pennsylvania Gifts Fee-Waived Adoptions

by Humane Pennsylvania

Dec 09, 2021

Humane Pennsylvania celebrates the holiday season with a special 12-day, fee-waived adoption event. From Monday, December 13th to Friday, December 24th, 12 Days of Adoptions will allow community members to adopt a shelter dog, cat, or critter, and ALL adoption fees will be waived at the Berks and Lancaster County shelter locations.

Karel Minor, Humane Pennsylvania CEO, expresses the importance of adopting this holiday season; “The 12 Days of Adoptions event is not only meant to highlight some of the wonderful animals in our care; it’s also meant to shed light on the importance of adopting an animal. Adopting an animal into your home, at a time when togetherness is at the forefront of everything we do, see, and hear, is a great way to change an animal’s life today and every day after.”

The holidays are a unique time of the year for shelter animals. While they receive exceptional daily care, there’s no place like a forever home for the holidays. A special thank you to the generous sponsors who also understood the importance of finding permanent homes for animals in need and helped make this year’s 12 Days of Adoptions event possible: Woodstream, Donna Yarri, in honor of her parents, Daniel and Dorothy Yarri, Lancaster Plumbing, Heating, Colling, and Electrical, WIN Home Inspection.

If you’re interested in becoming a sponsor for Humane Pennsylvania’s 12 Days of Adoptions event, please contact Director of Development, Lauren Henderson-Pignetti, at [email protected] or call (610) 750-6100 x 211.
