Mayor Moran to Host Second ARPA Public Forum

READING: Mayor Eddie Morán provided information on the second public interactive meeting to receive input from residents and organizations regarding how to invest the American Rescue Plan Act funds the City of Reading will receive from the federal government.

Mayor Morán invites individuals, community groups, and organization representatives to participate in the two-hour interactive session from 6-8 p.m. in the Gym of the Children’s Home of Reading Cardy Day Academy at 1040 Nicolls Street in Reading.

The public meeting has three components:

  1. Presentation
  2. Group session – the public has the opportunity to meet in small groups with City Officials and Department Directors for productive discussion.
  3. Open mic – a representative will summarize the discussion, ideas, and suggestions resulting from the group session.

There will be several opportunities to leave public input.

The session will be live-streamed on the Mayor’s Facebook Page at www.facebook.com/mayoreddiemoran.
