Local Artists and Musicians to Host Ukrainian Benefit Concert

On Sunday, April 24, 2022 from 2:00 -5:00 PM local musicians and artists will join together to host a benefit concert in support of Ukraine Missions. Proceeds from the event will be donated to Global Giving – Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund (www.globalgiving.org/projects/ukraine-crisis-relief-fund/) to best serve the needs of those impacted by the war.

The event will feature Brass Pocket, Lucille Jazz Vocalist and Roger D. Harris, Reflections Trio, OSP Experience, Rockman Blues Band, Maggie Spike, Jerry Laboranti and The Architects.

Artist, Drew “The Mayor” Montemayor, will be painting live during the performances on stage. The painting will be auctioned off at the end of the event.  Drew Montemayor is a Philadelphia based artist, muralist, illustrator, freelance graphic and website designer. For the last 5 years, he has helped create and improve brands through the creation of logos, websites and other graphic material for companies like The Turner Sports Network, Outward Bound, Berkshire Hathaway, HeadRoom, The Happy Pita Food Truck, Seven Mile Sweets, The Home Hero and more.  https://themayorsart.com/about/

The event will be held at Alvernia University, Francis Hall Auditorium, 400 St. Bernardine Street Reading PA 19607. Parking available on site.  $20 per person cash donation will be collected at the door. Doors will open at 1:00 PM. (No artists or musicians are being paid for this performance. All funds collected will be donated.)
