MG Architects Marketing Coordinator Promoted to Director of Business Development

Muhlenberg Greene Architects is pleased to announce that the firm’s Marketing Coordinator Suzanne L. Cody, has been elevated to an Associateship position and named Director of Business Development.

The Associate title recognizes Suzanne’s professional abilities and creative skills, and excellent track record with the firm, and the confidence of Firm Principals, Scott Graham, AIA, Bob Conklin, AIA and Jim Sarro, AIA have in her. She has continually demonstrated a commitment to translating the firm’s strategic goals into effective public relations, marketing, and communication efforts to increase awareness and understanding of MGA’s capabilities.

Since joining the team in 2019, Ms. Cody has played a leading role in articulating the firm’s history and brand. With over 20 years’ experience in marketing, Suzanne has been an integral part of the firm’s communications during the pandemic, 100th anniversary, and leadership transition.

Ms. Cody’s role as a Director of Business Development includes focusing on the firm’s business development activities, community outreach, and networking, plus establishing and implementing marketing goals and strategies.

Suzanne will bring her oversight to all aspects of nurturing client relationships, including identifying new prospects, coordination between business development and operations, and identifying market trends. In addition to her role as Director of Business Development, Suzanne has also taken on responsibility for growing the MG Architects’ internship programs.

Ms. Cody earned an Associate of Science degree in Interior Design from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale and completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design at Moore College of Art in Philadelphia. She holds a Certificate in Organizational Leadership from the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce, and an Integrated Digital Marketing Certificate from Penn State.

Suzanne currently lives in Reading, PA along with her better half, Steve, and their rescue chihuahua, Oatmeal. Her daughter Madeline is a freshman at Sarah Lawrence College in New York. Suzanne is a prominent figure in our community, serving as Board Secretary on the Foundation for the Reading Pagoda, and as a Board Member for the Reading Theater Project. She holds additional positions on the Programs Committee for SMPS Central PA, the Marketing Committee for the Children’s Home of Reading, and is a member of the Junior League of Reading.

Ms. Cody will work out of the firm’s Wyomissing office, as well as continuing to guide business development initiatives throughout the firm’s service area, including eight states (Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Vermont) and the District of Columbia.

Muhlenberg Greene Architects has been providing design, planning, and construction administration services for this area and surrounding states for over 100 years.
