Rep. Houlahan Invites Public to State of the Sixth Town Hall in Phoenixville

by The Office of Rep. Chrissy Houlahan

Apr 07, 2022

Representative Chrissy Houlahan (D-PA) announced the details of her State of the Sixth Town Hall happening on Tuesday, April 19 at The Colonial Theatre in Phoenixville. After hosting her inaugural State of the Sixth in 2020, Houlahan organized this event again to continue sharing updates on her work on behalf of Chester and Berks families and hear directly from constituents about the issues impacting them most.

“I am thrilled to welcome our community back to The Colonial Theatre for this year’s State of the Sixth Town Hall,” said Houlahan. “Pennsylvanians have faced many storms the past couple of years, but we are a resilient community and never lost our faith in one another. My message for the State of the Sixth is this: while challenges remain, we have much to be optimistic about. Last year, over 200 million Americans were fully vaccinated, 6.4 million jobs were added (the most in any year in U.S. history), historic infrastructure investments were passed, and we witnessed the biggest drop in unemployment ever. As we build on this progress, we will continue to support our small businesses, students, working families, and seniors. Representing our priorities and pragmatic values down in Washington is the privilege of my lifetime, and this event is an occasion to reflect on our lingering challenges and look towards the opportunities ahead.”

The event will consist of a presentation followed by a live Q&A, moderated by Phoenixville Mayor Peter Urscheler.
