RSO Will Dazzle with Spring POPS Concert John Williams and Beyond

Hear the music of Star Wars, Harry Potter, Raiders of the Lost Ark and more on April 23, 2022, at the Santander Performing Arts Center.

Don’t miss the movie music that defined a generation. Academy award winner John Williams gave us memorable movie moments as Star Wars, Harry Potter, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and Jaws. On Saturday, April 23, 2022, the Reading Symphony Orchestra will bring these moments to life through music.

“John Williams and Beyond is a fan favorite among our audience.” shares David Gross, Executive Director of the Reading Symphony Orchestra, “It’s a family affair offering familiar movie themes that span all generations.”

To bring out the movie enthusiast in all of us, the Reading Symphony Orchestra will be hosting a costume contest before the performance. Three prizes will be offered to the individuals dressed in their best John Williams’ movie character costume.

Conducted by Reading Symphony Orchestra’s Music Director, Andrew Constantine the April 23rd, 2022, performance will feature Star Wars, Harry Potter, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Jaws, Superman, and Schindler’s List.
