West Reading Craft Pretzel & Beer Festival Celebrates Brewers, Makers and Musicians

The April 23rd West Reading Craft Pretzel & Beer Fest is the only Festival that features our area’s founding crafts, Pretzel & Beer! The festival runs from 11-5pm and creates a pedestrian friendly corridor on the 500-700 blocks of Penn Avenue in West Reading. The event is free with pay as you go food and drinks, but you can also enjoy a ticketed tasting, limited to the first 350 people, of all our region’s best locally made pretzels and beer. VIP ticket holders get to sample up to 25 home-brews and choose their favorite to win prizes courtesy of Chatty Monks Brewing! Over 40 regional beers, a variety of pretzel makers and pretzel dishes will be featured this year. Thank you to our 2022 Lead Sponsor Unique Snacks for their continued support.

“We’re thrilled to support our community, and we’re looking forward to enjoying all the great craft pretzels and beers with our neighbors during the 23rd West Reading Craft Pretzel & Beer Fest,” said Justin Spannuth, COO of Unique Snacks. “We’re very excited to have Chatty Monk Brewing participating at this year’s fest, as we will be announcing a special product collaboration with them to celebrate National Pretzel Day on April 26th.”

The Youngers, a local Americana, Country Rock band will play at 4pm on the 6th Avenue Stage. Earlier in the day enjoy classic rock from FSB, Rock, Soul and Motown from The John King Dance Band, and Indie Rock with Mike & The Y-Tones.

All proceeds go to support the West Reading Community Revitalization Foundation (WRCRF) a non-profit 501(c)3 that is dedicated to the revitalization and growth of West Reading.
