BCTV Welcomes Maldonado, Hazlett As 2022 Summer Interns

Berks Community Television (BCTV) is excited to welcome two interns for Summer 2022. Yesenia Maldonado and Ella Hazlett will be assisting with program production in the Visions Federal Credit Union Studio at BCTV, as well as creating content for social media campaigns.

Yesenia Maldonado is a incoming-Junior Communications major at Alvernia University. Maldonado first learned about BCTV after taking classes at Alvernia CollegeTowne on Penn Street, BCTV’s residence.

“One of my professors mentioned that there was internships available,” Maldonado said, “so I saw it as a great opportunity to get hands-on experience.”

Maldonado enjoys painting in her free time.

 

Ella Hazlett

Ella Hazlett

Ella Hazlett is an incoming-Senior at Temple University in Philadelphia, majoring in Media Studies and Production. Hazlett learned about BCTV through a friend and was eager to sign up for internship opportunities.

“I wanted to gain more hands on experience that was related to my major, and just to get as much knowledge as I can,” Hazlett said.

Hazlett likes to stay active in her downtime, enjoying fitness, and even ran her first half marathon this spring. She also enjoys drawing and watching TV.
