Reading Hospital – Tower Health Adds Two New Members to Board of Trustees

Reading Hospital – Tower Health announced Monday that Michael Haas, MD, and Joshua Tice, MD have joined the Hospital’s Board of Trustees, effective July 1, 2022. The Reading Hospital Board of Trustees is composed of dedicated community members responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the hospital’s strategic plans while maintaining high-quality, cost-effective healthcare.

Dr. Haas currently serves as the Chief, Division of Radiation Oncology, Chair, Breast Cancer Multidisciplinary Clinic, and as a member of the Cancer Center Executive Committee at McGlinn Cancer Institute at Reading Hospital. He is also immediate past president of Berks County Medical Society and serves as an Active Practice Surveyor and Senior Reviewer for the American College of Radiology Radiation Oncology Practice Accreditation Committee. He is also a member of the Epic Systems National Radiation Oncology Steering Board. He is Board Certified in Radiation Oncology and completed his Residency training at the University of Maryland Medical System, medical education at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and undergraduate degree at Duke University.

Dr. Tice is a member of the Reading Hospital Medical Staff and currently serves as President of the Hospital’s Medical Staff, as a member of the Medical Executive Committee, and as Chair of the Credentials Committee. He actively participates with the Pennsylvania Radiological Society as the first Vice President, Councilor, Legislative Committee member, and Membership Committee member. He also serves as a Radiology Representative to the Specialty Leadership Cabinet of the Pennsylvania Medical Society. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology. He completed his Fellowship and Residency training at Penn State Hershey Medical Center, his Internship at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD, Medical School at The Pennsylvania State University, and completed his undergraduate degree at James Madison University.
