Humane Pennsylvania: Cats of All Ages Free To A Good Home
Levi

Due to the critically high number of cats in the shelter, cats of all ages at Humane Pennsylvania’s Berks Shelter, the Freedom Center for Animal Life-Saving (formally known as the Humane Society of Berks County) are FREE to a good home beginning immediately through Sunday, August 21st.

This fee-waived adoption event allows families to welcome a new feline friend into their home without needing to pay the standard adoption fee. Adopters wishing to provide a loving home for a shelter pet are encouraged to visit the shelter (located at 1801 N 11th Street, Reading) or HumanePA.org to learn more about the animals currently available for adoption.

Please note, adoption hours are 10 AM to 4 PM daily. All potential adopters must go through the same diligent adoption screening process as any other adopter. Once an adoption interest form is approved, the pet adoption fee will be waived.

For more information, please contact Humane PA at 610-750-6100.
