Region’s First Female Urologist Joins Center for Urological Care of Berks County

The Center For Urologic Care of Berks County is pleased to be welcoming Dr. Paulette C. Dreher to the practice!

Dr. Dreher has interest in general urology, including BPH, kidney stones, erectile dysfunction, kidney, bladder and prostate cancer, incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse.

Dr. Dreher received a Bachelor of Arts in Latin and Ancient Greek from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania where she was a member of the Eta Sigma Phi Honors society as well as Delphic Society for scholar athletes. While at F&M she was a member of the 2007 and 2009 National Champions Women’s Lacrosse Team, as well as an earned All-American in both Field Hockey and Lacrosse. She went on to obtain her medical degree from The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, wherein she was awarded the Leonard H. Finkelstein Scholarship for excellence in Urology.

Dr. Dreher completed her internship in General surgery at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She then received training in Urologic Surgery at Main Line Health – Lankenau Medical Center/Bryn Mawr Hospital in Wynnwood Pennsylvania. She received additional residency training in Pediatric Urology at Alfred I. DuPont/Nemours Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware and in Urologic Oncology at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo, New York.

Dr. Dreher was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and remains a Steelers/Penguins fan! She is joined in Wyomissing by her adoring husband, her two energetic children and faithful dog. When not at work, Dr. Dreher and her family enjoy hiking, attending sporting events, and ice cream.
