The health of the brain and the body are connected, and now, science provides insights into how to make lifestyle choices that may help you keep your brain and body healthy as you age. To help people age as well as possible, Penn State Extension partnered with The Alzheimer’s Association® to provide Healthy Living for Your Brain and Body: Tips from the Latest Research.

Format: Live Online via Zoom

Who is this for?

The program is intended for individuals of any age who are looking for information on ways to age well. It is not designed for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia.

What will you learn?

  • Current research on healthy aging and brain health
  • Reasons for taking care of yourself as you age
  • Practical strategies to age well in the areas of:
    • Cognitive activity
    • Physical health and exercise
    • Diet and nutrition
    • Social engagement
