Santa Claus brought The Grinch with him recently to Zuber Insurance office in Boyertown and the Richard A. Zuber Realty office in Royersford to give children and their families some special attention before his upcoming “big night” riding the sky with Rudolph delivering toys and gifts.
“All the children were just as excited to see The Grinch as they were to see Santa,” reports Zuber Realty agent Kathy Morcrette. “The children filled out their wish lists, hoping for Barbie dolls, stuffed animals, electronics, and books,” she continues.
“And we sent them home with a goody bag filled with cookies, candy, coloring books, crayons, pencils, small toys, and oranges,” adds agent Betsy Bellantoni, coordinator of the visits.
“Santa is special,” explains Bellatoni. “Ted Baer from Pottstown prepares for his role in July when he stops shaving—eager for his beard to be authentic if and when the children test it.”
Owner Richard Zuber, Agents Brian Gilbert, Karl Stauffer, and Lee Heffner joined Bellantoni and Morcrette to assist Santa and take photos of the children with Santa. Santa’s helpers –Assistant broker Connie Dolansky, Donna Stauffer, Gilbert, and agent Vanessa Deskie—baked or brought cookies, juice boxes, and clementines to add to the children’s take-home gifts.
