Josh Ritter & the Royal City Band is coming to the Miller Center for the Arts

After a SOLD OUT show last May, Josh Ritter returns May 6, 2023 at 7:30pm with the Royal City Band just after the upcoming release of his anticipated new album, Spectral Lines.

One of today’s most thoughtful and prolific voices, Ritter has released ten studio albums including 2019’s widely acclaimed, Fever Breaks, of which NPR Music praised, “He remains a hydrant of ideas while embodying an endless capacity for empathy and indignation, often within a single song.”

Spectral Lines, his 11th album, is full of wonder and light as Ritter considers the ideas of love, devotion and what it means to be connected, to each other and to ourselves.

“Josh Ritter remains at the top of his game two decades into a highlight-strewn career.
He’d be forgiven for loosening his grip, but his hand has never felt surer.”– NPR Music

“We are thrilled to welcome back Josh Ritter with his full band to the Miller Center. Our beautiful stage is the perfect setting for Josh and his erudite lyrics on the American spirit. The Royal City Band will be rollicking and rolling on May 6th.
