West Reading is bringing high fashion to Greater Reading with its annual Fashion Show. This event will bring together designers, models and West Reading boutiques for a night focused on creativity, style and music.
The show will take place at the newly designed Eight20 Events, located behind Sly Fox Brewing at 820 Knitting Mills Way, Wyomissing on Saturday, February 25, 2023, 8pm, with a 7pm VIP hour ticket upgrade available.
Twenty-five SUPER VIP’s will have deluxe catered seating in our Saylor House Lounge for the duration of the event. Designing the VIP lounge experience for the Fashion Show at Eight20 Events is a great opportunity to share our products with the community at this annual event” commented Jennifer Inners, Saylor House. Inners continues, “It was easy and fun working with event staff to create a 400 square foot modern black and white space that will complement the looks shown on the runway”.
All VIP’s enjoy a welcome glass of Brut + taste light bites, get their photo taken for the Berks County Living’s “B Scene”, and receive an exclusive “West Reading Swag Bag”!
This year’s runway will feature bridal to sportswear, lingerie to date night chic, coming from prominent area boutiques: Bella Jules, Betsey’s Boutique, Be Mine Boutique, DeLune Boutique, Dressed in Love Bridal Suite, Fleet Feet West Reading, Holistic Skateshop, LiliBea’s, and Snazzy Beauty Boutique.
Alison Pakradooni, owner of Be Mine Boutique, is working alongside event staff in preparing the many facets of the evening. According to Pakradooni, “Being a part of these events, I am constantly reminded of why I chose to open my business and be a bigger part of this community. The way each business and individual chooses to uplift each other and constantly strive to better the community which we live in is nothing short of inspiring”, she continues, “I am honored to see the continual changes and improvements both on and off Penn Avenue and around Berks County as a whole”. Pakradooni is also assisting in coordination with the Albright College Fashion Department and Albright’s Club Vogue members who will be working as volunteers for the event.

Leading up to the show, West Reading will feature events with their very own Fashion Week, starting Thursday, February 23rd. During this time participating boutiques will have their own discounts, sales and promotions.
West Reading’s vibrant fashion community is growing yearly and we are excited to bring its influence to the greater Reading audience.
This event is a collaboration between the West Reading Community Revitalization Foundation (WRCRF) and West Reading Merchants. Proceeds benefit WRCRF a 501(c)3 registered organization.
