The Manufacturers Resource Center (MRC) names Wendy Beltzner of Danielsville, PA Director of Leadership Development and Training Strategy to lead the Center’s training and education services in leadership development and customized training strategies. Wendy’s role at MRC is training and coaching in business-critical interpersonal skills. She is also well known for conducting MRC’s popular Supervisor Boot Camps to help every supervisor realize their leadership potential.
“MRC’s Supervisor Skills Development Courses provide first-level managers, team leaders, group leaders, and others with many of the leadership and communication tools needed to manage the increasingly complex performance issues found in today’s organizations,” says Rich Hobbs, President & CEO at MRC. “With her vast experience in leadership development, Wendy also developed courses for us in Customer Service, Management Essentials, and Onboarding, all of which are highly popular at MRC.”
Wendy worked as an Adjunct Instructor in the Leadership and Workforce Development Department at Lehigh Carbon Community College for 25 years specializing in leadership and customer service training.
She worked with companies from all industries represented throughout Northampton, Lehigh, and Carbon counties. She previously worked for Fortune 500 service giants such as IBM and Manpower Inc., advancing her career from entry-level through various levels of management. Wendy is also an entrepreneur. She created, owned, and operated the Lehigh Valley’s first children’s museum designed with an emphasis on soft skills education. She has also co-owned an award-winning, ice cream retail and wholesale business with her husband for over 30 years. Wendy earned her B.S. degree in Marketing from Oral Roberts University, her TWI Job Instruction Training Certification from the TWI Institute, and is a certified Everything DISC© practitioner and a member of ATD (Association of Talent Development).
