The Berks Intercultural Alliance and the Wyomissing Public Library will offer the second of three programs about Black History in Berks County on Saturday, Feb. 18th starting at 12 noon.
At that time the library will have a screening of the BCTV-produced video, “…on the basis of race,” a series of interviews with Black residents who lived in Berks County before the passage of the landmark 1964 Civil Rights legislation.
At 1 PM, Dr. Tiffenia Archie will talk about Civil Rights in the 21st Century. Dr. Archie is the Associate Vice President and Chief Inclusion Officer at Temple University.

The 3rd program in the series is scheduled for Saturday, March 18th at 1 PM, when the topic will be the Underground Railroad.
The library will wrap up its Black History Month events with a screening of the film, “Glory,” the story of the first Black regiment to fight for the Union during the Civil War. The film will be shown on Monday, Feb.27th at 6 PM.
