Health System Celebrates Another Fully Matched Program Year
Tower Health successfully filled all its open residency slots, adding 108 Residents in 12 residency programs with students from 63 medical schools in the United States and internationally. The new Residents will arrive in June for orientation and then officially begin their trainings the first week of July 2023. With the arrival of these new residents, Tower Health will be training a total of approximately 300 residents across the system.
“Everyone at Tower Health is proud that our Residency programs have once again filled every available position we had available this academic year,” said Tower Health President and CEO P. Sue Perrotty. “Adding this group of individuals, who come to us from medical schools across the country and around the world, helps to ensure we have a group of providers as diverse as the patients we care for. I welcome them to the Tower Health family.”
Residents will join the following programs:
- Reading Hospital – Anesthesiology, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Neurology, OB/GYN, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Psychiatry
- Phoenixville Hospital – Internal Medicine, Psychiatry
- St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children – Pediatrics
