The Berks Street Art Festival: Kindness & Creativity

The Berks Street Art Festival: Kindness & Creativity is an experiential, hands-on, outdoor family fun day in a safe, non-judgment environment promoting kindness and creativity. Admission is free and food available for purchase.

The festival takes place again on the beautifully maintained thirteen-acre campus of The Reading Muhlenberg Career and Technology Center (RMCTC). The date is Saturday, May 6th, from 10 am to 2 pm, with a rain date of Saturday, May 13th.

We are excited to welcome singer/musician, Dave Kline to our stage at Noon! We are increasing our interactive play stations and community resources, plus adding more experiential activities around art, street performers, dance and music.

Show off your talents with chalk on the asphalt paved lots at RMCTC. It’s free for everyone to attend! All ages are welcome. There will be music, art, food, entertainment, and lots of other activities for children and adults. We’ll provide the chalk, or you can bring your own. Click REGISTER FOR FREE CHALK below. (Free chalk to first 200 registered chalk-art participants.)

The mission of the Camel Project is to assist individuals and organizations in changing the culture of bullying and unacceptable behaviors that result in violence, trauma, and abuse.

Are you a street musician, dancer, painter, magician, author or other artist/performer and would like to display your art? We’re looking for performers to wander the event or perform where you stand. No schedule, no time limit, just do what you love! CLICK HERE
