Barley Snyder Attorney Sarah Rubright McCahon Named Lehigh Valley Business “Women of Influence” Honoree

We are pleased to announce that Barley Snyder Attorney Sarah Rubright McCahon has been named to Lehigh Valley Business’s 2023 “Women of Influence” list.

The Women of Influence award honors high-achieving women for their career accomplishments. Honorees are selected by the Lehigh Valley Business editorial board based on their professional experience, community involvement and commitment to mentorship. To be eligible for the awards, the winners must live or work in the Greater Lehigh Valley region.

“The most rewarding part of this award is recognizing the achievements of other successful women in the region and learning more about the positive impacts we make within our communities,” said McCahon. “Thank you to LVB for acknowledging our notable efforts and career accomplishments. I very much look forward to celebrating this wonderful milestone with these women.”

McCahon is a member of Barley Snyder’s Trusts & Estates and Business practice groups, concentrating her practice in estate planning and administration. She regularly works with clients to develop comprehensive estate plans and assists them with the complexities of special needs trust administration and guardianships. Her business practice primarily includes advising nonprofit corporations. McCahon is also active with community organizations, serving as Chairwoman of Girls on the Run Berks County, as a member of the Greater Reading Chamber Alliance’s Women2Women, and as a volunteer with her daughters’ Girl Scouts of America troop.

“Sarah has been a role model to me, portraying what it means to be a professional woman and attorney today,” said Barley Snyder attorney EmmaRose M. Strohl. “Her contributions to our firm and the community make her an exemplary model of the virtues that this award stands for.”
McCahon and other winners will be honored at a celebration on May 10 at DeSales University in Center Valley. All honorees will be profiled in a special magazine issue that will be distributed to the public on May 8 and available online at LVB.com.
