The Twin Valley Middle School (TVMS) and the Twin Valley High School (TVHS) will host Days of Music this May. The TVMS Day of Music was held this Saturday, May 13, 2023, from 12:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. in the TVMS auditorium. The TVHS Day of Music Festival will take place on Sunday, May 21, 2023, from 12:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the TVHS auditorium and cafeteria. Both Days of Music are free and open to the public.
The TVMS Day of Music (May 13, 2023) featured performing groups from grades 5th through 8th in addition to the Jazz Band, String Ensemble, and Select Chorus. Throughout the day, more than 400 student musicians demonstrated their work from throughout the year. As a celebration of Mother’s Day Weekend, the concert highlighted “Women in Music” with each performing group featuring pieces composed, arranged, or performed by women.
The TVHS Day of Music (May 21, 2023) will feature the Twin Valley High School Symphonic Band, High School Orchestra, High School Chorus, High School Percussion Ensemble, local community group performances, as well as solo performances. In conjunction with the event, the Music Boosters of Twin Valley will be hosting a Vendor, Craft & Collectibles show in the high school cafeteria. Concessions will also be available for purchase as well as various raffle baskets. Sales will directly benefit the TVSD music programs.
