The Project Peace March

Each year students from Reading High School and the five Middle Schools come together in a March for Peace.  The event is planned by the youth with the support of the Community Prevention Partnership, the Northeast Community Springboard Coalition, and local organizations.  This year the Project Peace March will take place on Saturday, June 3, 2023 in the Courtyard of the Reading School District Central Middle School.  We will have speakers, entertainment by Reading High Students, refreshments, games and helpful resources from local organizations.

The event basics are:

The Community Prevention Partnership is a, 501(c) (3), non-profit Berks County agency.  The mission of the Community Prevention Partnership is to make a difference by offering a variety of prevention services that help to address problems and risks associated with: violence, teen pregnancy, abuse, crime, school dropout, poverty and other related social issues.

The Community Prevention Partnership, in conjunction with DFC grantee, the Northeast Community Springboard Coalition work hard to make a difference in the lives of families.  The Northeast Community Springboard Coalition is proud to empower youth in the City of Reading by supporting Project Peace.
