In an effort to create an atmosphere of safer streets, connected communities, a healthier planet and happier people, Commuter Services of Pennsylvania is encouraging area commuters to #bikethere and celebrate Bike Month this May. Biking is a great option to travel to work while burning calories and saving money.
Commuter Services of PA is challenging regional commuters who, typically drive alone to work, to try bicycling instead. The non-profit group is available to help map a commuter’s bike route to work and educate them on how to combine their bike trip with transit.
Once commuters are ready to ride, they can check out Commuter Services of PA’s Bike Month contest. It is as easy as 1, 2, 3. Participants will be entered randomly to win three $100 Tango gift cards.
To be eligible, commuters must do the following:
- Comment on our social media post on National Bike to Work Day, Friday, May 19th.
- Record at least five bike commutes in your Commute PA account in May.
The winners will be announced at the beginning of June.
