Heather Miller

Keystone Villa at Douglassville’s personal care and memory care community welcomes Heather Miller as its new executive director and Blair Drace as its new resident care director.

Miller has first-hand knowledge of the caregiver relationship, having been one at the onset of her career, and is most recognized as an industry leader with 12 years of experience.

She earned her credentials as a personal care administrator at Temple University in Philadelphia, preceded by a baccalaureate in political science from Cabrini University in Radnor, Pennsylvania.

Among Miller’s significant responsibilities as the executive director, she is responsible for the daily management and operations of the community. She also brings her passion for creating a vibrant living environment for seniors while cultivating a caring relationship with residents to ensure they receive the highest quality of care.

“Sharing special moments with residents, whether it’s having a quick dance to their favorite song or helping to fix their hair and makeup for a special occasion, is what makes it a privilege to care for our seniors,” Miller said. “This is the special touch I look to bring to Keystone Villa, at a time when it’s more important than ever to celebrate the little things in life.”

Miller is a longtime resident of both the Douglassville and Gilbertsville areas.

Blair Drace

Blair Drace fills the role of resident care director to oversee that each resident receives proper care services while assisting with resident and family decision-making regarding clinical and long-term care. Additional responsibilities include developing, planning, implementing, supervising, and monitoring staff and resident programs.

She is a licensed practical nurse from Eastern Center for Arts and Technology in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania. Along with additional medical billing and administration training, she brings over 20 years of experience in senior care, nursing, and administration to Keystone Villa at Douglassville.

Drace began her career in senior care during high school as an administrative assistant at a senior care community. She’s also previously worked in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, personal care, memory care, and home care.

“My mission is to ensure that every resident of our community is treated with dignity, respect, and compassion. I not only want the residents to be happy, but the family who is also part of our community to know how life can be celebrated in the fullest,” she said.

Drace is a longtime resident of Boyertown.
