Bethany Children’s Home to Host 160 Year Anniversary Day Carnival

On Saturday, August 19, Bethany Children’s Home will be hosting their Anniversary Day Carnival to celebrate 160 years of service to at risk youth.

Anniversary Day was a long standing tradition at Bethany Children’s Home for over 100 years. People traveled near and far to celebrate the home year after year.

This year, Anniversary day is back in a big way! The day will feature three concerts, Jeff Krick, Jr: Elvis Tribute at 12:00 p.m. The Celtic Martins at 3:00 p.m. closing out the event with the Grease Band at 6:30 p.m.

In addition to live music, the event will be packed with fun for all ages. 4 inflatables, 9 carnival games, 5 food trucks and 20+ vendors!

As a tribute to 160 years, Bethany Alumni and previous team members are invited to a service on campus at Bausman Chapel at 11:30 a.m. A Meet & Greet and cake cutting will take place for Alumni at 2:30 p.m. at the Gazebo where they can share stories and memories of Bethany.

Bethany Children’s Home invites everyone to their beautiful campus for a day of celebration, history, fun, laugher, food and music. Help Bethany celebrate the incredible work that has been done over the last 160 years and will continue to be done for many years to come.
