MG Architects is pleased to announce that Eddit Marmolejos Gil has joined our firm as a Design Technician.

Eddit will assist the firm’s Architects and Project Managers with all phases of design documentation and construction contract administration, develop detailed 3-D/BIM models, and create construction documents and schedules from those models. She will also assist Project Managers with construction phase contract administration and utilize her bilingual skills to assist MG Architects’ client base as needed.

Eddit moved to the area two years ago from the Dominican Republic. She earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Santiago University of Technology (UTESA) in 2021, and also holds a Bachelor of Interior Design from the Laie School of Arts, graduating in 2016.

Mrs. Gil and her husband recently purchased their first home in Reading, PA. Her artistic talents were showcased locally on Sept. 21 as part of community engagement organization Barrio Allegría’s OJOS project photography show.

Eddit will work out of the firm’s Wyomissing office, but as customary, she will support projects throughout the firm’s service area, including eight states (Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Maryland, South Carolina, Virginia, Vermont) and the District of Columbia.

MG Architects has been providing design, planning, and construction administration services for this area and surrounding states for over 100 years. The firm participates in projects, initiatives, and events which nurture local workforce development and provide opportunities for architectural professionals at all stages of their career. We believe that it is our professional responsibility as leaders to provide encouragement, mentoring, and assistance for young architects to gain the broad experience required. Welcome to the team Eddit!
