CWHS Musical to Hold “Spotlight Slam: Students to Superstars” Nov. 4

CWHS Musical is thrilled to announce “Spotlight Slam: Students to Superstars.” The event promises to be an exciting and impactful gathering that will not only provide a great experience for attendees, but will also make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students.

“Spotlight Slam” is set to take place on Saturday, Nov. 4 in the Conrad Weiser High School Gymnasium located at 44 Big Spring Road in Robesonia. The event will kick off at 7 p.m. and conclude at 9 p.m.

This charity wrestling event will present a wide range of entertainment, including matches featuring our program alumnus “Ace Austin” Highley, Two-Time IMPACT! Wrestling Tag Team Champion, along with his very special guest Rich Swann, former WWE Cruiserweight Champion, and current IMPACT! Wrestling superstar. In addition to the exciting lineup, guests can also enjoy a full roster of professional wrestling talent, special “meet and greets,” and concession and merchandise sales. All proceeds benefit CWHS Musical.

CWHS Musical relies on the support of the local community to continue its vital work teaching our students life skills and real-world job skills through the application of theatre technique and production tasks, while also fostering a strong work ethic their sense of ownership as performers and community members. This fundraising event aims to raise essential funds that will directly contribute to these efforts. Your attendance and support can make a significant impact on our ability to empower and encourage our students through the basic lessons learned in a musical theatre setting.

“We are excited to bring our community together for this important cause,” said Jenn Epler, fundraiser for CWHS Musical. “Ace Austin has given us the unique opportunity to entertain and engage with our community, while setting an incredible example for our current students. You can live your dreams. Austin once walked the same halls they are walking, and he is now living his dream, doing what he loves: traveling and competing internationally. We are so proud of him, and humbled that he recognizes the support he received as a member of our program to be even a small part of his journey. And we are so honored that he chose to give back to us in this way.”

We believe this event presents an excellent opportunity to showcase the community’s commitment to support our students, and our collective dedication to making a positive change in their lives.
