The Greater Reading Chamber Alliance (GRCA) cordially invites you to attend the 2023 Wells Fargo Economic Forecast Breakfast. Back again is keynote speaker Dr. Jay H. Bryson, Ph.D., Managing Director and Chief Economist for Wells Fargo’s Corporate and Investment Bank. Bryson will present “The U.S. Economic Outlook: Weathering the Storm.” Bryson will discuss how the U.S. economy showed a remarkable degree of resilience in 2023, but that cracks are beginning to show due to monetary tightening. Inflation is receding, but will the Fed ease policy before a full-blown economic storm develops? Bryson will shed light on these questions and more.

Jay Bryson is a managing director and the chief economist for Wells Fargo’s Corporate and Investment Bank, a position he has held since August 2018. In this role, Bryson leads the economics group, which provides analysis of economic and financial developments in the major economies of the world as well as forecasts of macroeconomic variables in these economies. He was Wells Fargo’s Global Economist between 1998 and 2018.
