Bucks County Classic Race Director Laura Reppert of Reading was elected to the position of Vice President of the National Association of Professional Race Directors and will serve a two-year term. The National Association of Professional Race Directors (NAPRD) is an organization of bicycle race directors who produce the top road races in the country. Members include directors from more than 15 states.

Reppert, who has been a member of NAPRD since 2019, said, “I am excited to take on this new position in the organization. Joining NAPRD and networking with directors across the country has helped me hone my skills. I look forward to working with my colleagues as we move racing forward in the United States.”

Reppert began working in event production on the Reading120, an internationally sanctioned road race in Berks County, Pennsylvania, and as the Special Events Coordinator for the Reading Downtown Improvement District Authority. Since 2019, she has been the director of the Bucks County Classic in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. Reppert also organizes a series of kids’ cycling workshops and provides services for over a dozen cycling events across the country. Most recently, she produced the City of Reading’s 275th Anniversary celebrations.
