Penn State Berks Hosts “Not Another Assault” Lecture for Sexual Assault Awareness Month

In recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month, Penn State Berks will host a lecture titled “Not Another Assault” at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, in the Perkins Student Center. This event is free and open to the public.

The speaker, Bonny Shade, believes that action rooted in education can change the world. Shade has more than 12 years of higher education experience with a deep focus on fraternity and sorority life, risk management, and accountability. She earned her master’s degree from Bowling Green State University and a certificate in design thinking from UNC Charlotte, where she served as the associate director for fraternity and sorority life for 10 years.

Shade is a speaker, educator, and researcher.
