Twin Valley School District Selects Finalist for New Superintendent of Schools

Mr. Robert Scoboria has been selected as the finalist for the position of Superintendent of Schools for the Twin Valley School District (TVSD). Mr. Scoboria’s appointment will be effective July 1, pending contact negotiations and TVSD School Board approval on May 20.

Exceptionally qualified for this role, Mr. Scoboriaarticulated a compelling vision for the district throughout the search process, leaving the TVSD School Board confident in his ability to successfully lead the Twin Valley School District. Mr. Scoboria is currently serving as the Superintendent of Schools for the Wyomissing Area School District (WASD), a position he has held since September 2017. Prior to his Superintendent appointment at WASD, Mr. Scoboria served as Assistant Superintendent for the Boyertown Area School District (BASD) for 12 years. Mr. Scoboria has extensive education experience beginning his career as a Learning Support Teacher for the Twin Valley and Reading School Districts. He then moved on to assume the role of Director of Special Education at Brandywine Heights Area School District. Following that position, he became the Director of Pupil Services for the Pennridge School District before his role as the BASD Assistant Superintendent.

The Twin Valley School District is situated between Berks and Chester counties. Seven municipalities in the two counties form the district: Caernarvon Township, Elverson Borough, Honey Brook Borough, Honey Brook Township, New Morgan Borough, Robeson Township, and West Nantmeal Township. The three regional elementary centers, Twin Valley Elementary Center, Honey Brook Elementary Center, and Robeson Elementary Center, accommodate grades K-4. Twin Valley Middle School accommodates grades 5-8, and Twin Valley High School houses grades 9-12, as well as the District Administrative offices. Total district enrollment is approximately 3,000.
