Leadership Berks, a program of the United Way of Berks County, is seeking proposals from Berks County’s non-profit organizations for consideration as a Service Project for the 2024-25 Leadership Berks class. The application form (attached below) includes details around the timeline and requirements from the non-profit as well as the project description and related information.

In addition to participating in the nine-month program to build community leadership skills and knowledge about Berks County, all class members are required to participate in a service project. These projects are designed to be a leadership learning experience for the participants and a meaningful benefit to the non-profit.

Project proposals should be designed with the understanding that the Leadership Berks class is comprised of talented and professionally qualified individuals with different skills and experiences who will work together to assist local organizations create solutions to current needs. Projects completed by the recent class included refreshing websites, creating a new volunteer recruitment strategy, and designing a racial equity survey.

Critical to the success of the project is ensuring a project liaison is selected who will be available and has the time to dedicate to the service project team.

We welcome your proposal submission. Deadline for all proposals is Friday, Aug. 9.
